I don’t know if you guys have ever noticed, but these two book covers are actually pretty special.

At either side of the American covers, there are curtains. Book One and Book Seven are the only books with curtains on the cover. Think of it like a Broadway show. The curtains raise to begin the performance and close when it’s over. Whether this was intentional or not, it’s very fitting. Book One reveals a world new to all of us. We don’t know what’s on the other side, only that it’s full of adventure and magic and new friends waiting to be made. Book Seven’s curtains are there to signify the end of our journey. Everything has been solved and put to rest and the story is over (even though it’ll never really be over). The beginning and the end.

So whether or not this was intentional, which I bet it was, always pay close attention to book covers, as you never know what you may find.

You might be drifting, can’t find the shore.
So hopeless, and all alone.
The waves are crashing all around you;
Just when you’ve lost the will to live,
You see the sun/Son.

Doin’ the Creep…

So today, we creeped on a few friends of ours. Brian and Kegan go to Walmart, so what did we do? Chloe, Madison and I jump in my car and go to Walmart behind them. At first, we went to the wrong Walmart. There are actually three Walmarts around this area, all of them about the same distance apart. So we were creeping around the wrong Walmart, looking like fools. What else is new?

Finally, we got to the right Walmart, and we creeped from a distance. Pretty well, if I don’t say so myself. But they weren’t as scared or startled as I had hoped for. We have a video montage of our escapade, hopefully I can get the links up soon.

What an eventful day…

When the sky fell in,
When the hurricanes came for me,
I could finally crash again,
And that’s how I became the sea.

Sleep Deprivation

I think it’s been going on close to a month now, this college thing here. And I love it. So much. The people, the classes, the campus, the dorm…. Everything! I couldn’t have asked for a better dorm arrangement. Everything just rocks.

My roommate and I got some pets. We have (don’t be startled) six fish. All Beats, four are females, two males. Their names, you ask? There’s Fred Weasley and Georg, Verona, Silcily, Cecilia, and Luna Lovegood. We also got a hamster today. His name is Hermie, and he is the most adorable thing ever. And he loves his little ball. He ran up and down the halls of our dorm today, to the amusement of all.

The only thing I’m not liking is the not getting much sleep thing. That rumour, that college kids don’t get much sleep; It’s completely true. No way is it a rumour. I got a job at an Arby’s in a town that’s (sort of) near-by, and they hired me for closing shift. I don’t get back to the dorm some nights until 2 a.m. That kinda stinks trying to get up the next morning. And then I’m up now. How smart of me.

Well, I’d better be off to sleep. My coffee pot is ready to report for duty in the morning. Well, I guess it’s in a few hours.

Goodnight all! Love!!
